Oh how our Karen has changed.
Karen had such an amazing storyline in season 1 of Shameless, and with the onset of Season 2 I’ve been a bit worried at how her character has been handled. I was in the beginning of Episode 4 today wondering what the writers were planning to do with her, all she had really done in the season so far was avoid Lip and hangout with her new innocent biker boyfriend.
Then I waded my way through the whole episode and it was revealed, Karen is pregnant (and after seeing the next ep preview) with Lip’s baby! So now I’m really excited for whats in store for her this season. I’m worried though, with this episode Karen has been almost conveyed like a villain, and I wonder why she wants to be with the biker guy as opposed to Lip what with her being pregnant with Lip’s baby, though I’m sure this is something we’ll find out in a later episode.
Either way, it looks like Laura Slade Wiggins is going to get to have a lot to work with this season, and I’m excited to see what she does. After all that has transpired how do you feel about how Karen has been handled this season, and what do you think is in store for her the rest of the season?

is one of the greatest shows I have ever seen. I just watched it through a second time, and the finale STILL made me bawl, so much so I had to blow my nose afterwards, I even hugged my aging dog, and thought about how I should be babying the hell out of her, cause she won’t be here for much longer. Also, you may think I’m spoiling the finale, but no one dies in it, so don’t worry, its just that good that it can make you cry without even killing someone.
It’s so profoundly great, yet at times it can also be a very lighthearted show, actually its USUALLY lighthearted, and darkly funny, but it has its scenes that are just so great, and NOT funny, and very serious, that just work so well, making it a perfect show in my eyes.
Seriously watch this now, and be ready for the season premeire on June 27th, it’s quite worth it, a GREAT experience.
I made this almost a year ago. It’s a United States of Tara theme done without the cartoon aspect, and done more like a normal theme song, with the same song though. I’m getting reobsessed with the show, so this seemed like a good thing to post.

New Shameless tonight! I can’t wait, my favorite TV show airing right now thats not on hiatus. It’s very great, and yeah I’m talking about the US version. I haven’t watched the UK version, and right now don’t really care much about it, I love the US version just fine, and am in love with the cast and characters.
People like to get on the whole “Remakes suck” bandwagon. But this one obviously stands good on its own as I love it and haven’t seen the original. The UK version is still very sucessful in the UK, and I don’t really think if they brought it to america that it would do well.
It may insult my country, but most americans pry wouldn’t wanna watch a british tv show NOT including myself, I’d be all for that, but I don’t really think this remake is taking anything away from the original, if anything its just getting more americans to check it out as I will eventually.
Before I get hate for liking this remake, I just wanna say that, why should we as the viewers worry about the politics behind what we watch? Life is short, if we like what we’re watching, just enjoy it, and fuck everyone else. Yeah. So yay for US Shameless, your awesome, and I love you!
